The Zen Hostel

The Zen Hostel is located in Oradea, near the Romanian-Hungarian border in the Posticum spiritual and cultural center, in the suburban part of the city, close to the center. The house is an oasis, an island on the mainland – in geographical, cultural and religious terms .
Zen Hostel wants to respond to the fears of wartime, helplessness, the challenges of Covid. Those who come here will find an ancient source and silence. The Silence helps you to discov-er the divine in yourself, and makes you understand that peace can be found within yourself and you are eternal in sickness and in joy as well.
Tourists, groups, but especially those working in “home office” are welcome. For those who want to come for a longer period of time, we offer a discount.
It is possible to get involved in spiritual, cultural programs. In all our activities, we represent a spirituality open to the world.
Zen Hostel is operated by OneDropZen and Posticum. Zen practitioners or volunteers with an open spiritual interest are welcome to apply for this position.

We are waiting for those who want to relax and recharge in our tastefully furnished, bright rooms with 1-4 beds.
The guest house is located in a garden part of Oradea, yet close to the center, and has a park-ing lot, a spacious terrace and a garden.
In winter and summer you can visit the surrounding spas, including the most famous, Băile Felix, and the city’s huge aqua park, Nymphaea. Swimming, massage and many other facilities await those interested.
Our hotel guests can join the in-house meditation and yoga practice and any other spiritual, cultural-artistic program. All program costs are included in the price of the Hostel.

Meal

The community of volunteers welcomes all the guests of the house to a «secular monastery menu».
Breakfast is included in the room price. Requests for lunch must always be indicat-ed on the form placed on the counter after breakfast, the prices of the seasonal menus will be shown on the form.
Groups can also request the services of the Egalitas Restaurant operating in the house, and special services are available by arrangement.

the periods are of 25 minutes with a break of 5 minutes
